Today’s lecture presentation is a tribute to Manning Marable ’71 and his book Malcolm X: A Life of Reinvention. Dr. Cornel West is a prominent and provocative democratic intellectual who is best known for his classic Race Matters, Democracy Matters and his new memoir Brother West: Living and Loving Out Loud, A Memoir. He frequently appears on the Bill Maher Show, Colbert Report, CNN and C-Span as well as, Tavis Smiley’s PBS TV Show and PRI radio show Smiley and West.
