Amsterdam: Liberalismo y cultura se unen en una ciudad única

Ámsterdam es una de las ciudades europeas más liberales que existe en la actualidad, prueba de ello son el famoso “Distrito Rojo” debido a que la prostitución está legalizada en el país y el consumo legalizado de drogas blandas como el cannabis. Pero no solo se caracteriza por estos consumos “legales”, sino que nos ofrece un turismo cultural basado en los diversos museos que contiene la ciudad.

Pero primeramente vamos a situarnos. Ámsterdam es la capital de los Países Bajos, está situada en la provincia Holanda Septentrional, es una de las doce provincias del país. Tiene una población sobre unos 750.000 habitantes y una superficie de 41.526 kilómetros cuadrados.

Turismo de ocio: Si lo que buscamos de Ámsterdam es la fiesta, la vida nocturna, el desenfreno; estamos en el lugar indicado. Para empezar podemos irnos a las “Coffee Shop” situadas alrededor del Distrito Rojo, tranquilos el café es opcional, lo exótico del lugar es tomar un cigarro de la risa sin estar escondido. Después de esta visita feliz, nos dirigimos al distrito Rojo, a ver ,visitarlo es opcional, si creéis que os va ofender no vayáis, pero pensad que la prostitución es legal y que ellas están ahí por que quieren. Se acerca la noche, pero nuestro cuerpo nos pide más marcha y estamos de suerte, la vida nocturna de esta ciudad es comparable a la de Paris, Barcelona o Berlín. Miles de jóvenes se agrupan en los alrededores de las plazas Rembrandtplein y Leidseplein donde la noche esta sitiada por los jóvenes de diversos países. Hay que resaltar que Ámsterdam es considerada la ciudad emblema de homosexuales, debido a que tienen una legislación envidiable para el resto de homosexuales universales.

Turismo cultural: Ayer fue un día inolvidable de fiesta y hoy nos hemos levantado con resaca, con que lo mejor será hacer un recorrido por la otra cara de Ámsterdam. Comenzaremos yendo a la plaza de los museos donde se encuentran 3 muy famosos, primero al Van Gogh Museum, allí encontramos la mayor colección de pinturas de Van Gogh en el mundo, luego nos iremos al Rijksmuseum o Museo Nacional de Ámsterdam dedicado al arte, la artesanía y la historia. Por último nos dirigimos al Stedelijk_Museum que es uno de los más importantes centros dedicados al arte moderno en Europa. Para acabar nuestro recorrido cultural iremos a la casa de Anne Frank conocida mundialmente por su triste historia en la segunda guerra mundial y el hecho de ser judía alemana.

Nuestro viaje ha concluido y hemos salido satisfechos de todo lo que hemos visto y probado, Ámsterdam es una gran ciudad por visitar y estaríamos encantados de volver, pero el problema como siempre es que si queremos viajar debemos trabajar, hasta otro viaje.
