About
Trisha Lyn Fawver, also known around the web as TrishaLyn, has been online since 1999. Trisha’s been blogging personally since 2004 on various platforms such as LiveJournal and MySpace. She learned Unix & HTML in her spare time during college and started building personal websites to keep family & friends up to date from afar on what she was up to.
Trisha was with PsPrint for almost 5 years, starting in Customer Service, moving into the marketing department in 2006 to manage mailing services and the affiliate program. At the end of 2007, Trisha passed the torch of the mailing program and began exclusively managing their affiliate and reseller programs, email marketing, and article marketing.
In September of 2008, Trisha moved on to become the Director of Affiliate Marketing for New Edge Media, an internet marketing agency that works to improve client’s paid and organic search, affiliate marketing, email marketing, and social media status around the internet. She was with New Edge Media until April of 2009, representing the PrintPlace.com affiliate program. She moved on from there to work with Paulson Management Group as their Director, Affiliate Program Management, helping to launch the BeHome24/7 and TheFlip Canada affiliate programs, as well as managing the MyJewelryBox.com and Connect America Medical Alert affiliate programs. Trish now works with ForMeToCoupon.com, offering support for clients and assisting in sales.
In March of 2009, Trisha added podcast host to her list of projects. Having co-hosted Affiliate Thing once with Shawn Collins, she launched into co-hosting Affiliate Marketing Fanatics with Michael Buechele of Comic Book Fury. Affiliate Marketing Fanatics is hosted on the GeekCast.fm network of podcasts and covers aspects of affiliate marketing from an affiliate manager (Trisha) and affiliate publisher (Mike) perspectives. She has appeared as a guest on other podcasts such as the Performance Marketing Association’s Industry Report, GeekCast Live at Affiliate Summit East 2009 and Baseballisms.
Trisha has also been a speaker at affiliate industry conferences such as Affiliate Summit, Affiliate Convention, and the Social Media Marketing Summit. Her articles have also appeared in FeedFront Magazine and on MarketingPilgrim.com.
Here at TrishaLyn.com she blogs about her career, performance marketing, social media, and various other marketing methods. She started this blog in August 2007 to help fellow newbie marketers and bloggers through their struggles in getting started with their career and to share some tips of the trade that she’s picked up. Peppered in is commentary on online marketing news, notes from conferences she attends, and a little bit of herself shared with the readers.
