I forgot about this but look, that’s me in the January issue of Edge magazine! Well, kind of. They neglect to mention my name. But still, pretty cool huh? Huh?

I wanted to explore grading in After Effects a bit to see what it could add to flat vector art. So in Flash I quickly mocked up a title card for an imaginary film based on one of my favourite books, and spent half an hour fiddling with it in AE. Above is the result, click the image to check out the before and after. Definitely going to do more of this!

Ok well if the new theme didn’t give it away already, Home Sheep Home 2 came out today for iOS and PC!

In due course I’ll be adding a full write up of my involvement in this awesome project to the Play section (short version: I drew every level. By hand. It took ages.) but until then, content yourself with a whole free episode, why don’t you?

If you watch a lot of ITV, and I know you do, you may have seen the promos for Text Santa, the channel’s upcoming festive charity entertainment extravaganza. The awesome Joe Wood and I animated these spots, and the show’s title sequence, for Aardman director Tim Ruffle, who also designed the characters. The lovely backgrounds were painted in Photoshop by Jim Grant and Spencer Cross did epic AE work.

You can see the launch trail, just about, here. Merry Christmas!

Oh hi. So I’m still tinkering with tumblr but I figure this place is about presentable enough to start actually blogging. To kick things off here’s the trailer for Home Sheep Home 2, the game I spent most of this year colouring in. I’ll post more extensively about it once it’s released, which I’m told should be soon. Until then, enjoy the trailer and perhaps check out the official site.

Hello you. Kindly BEAR with me (ha!) while I try to hack Tumblr in to something vaguely ship-shaped. Eventually you’ll be able to find my illustration, animation, and interactive work here, but feel free to drop me a line in the meantime.

That’s all for now…
