watch me strike out

You could say this is a desperate attempt of casual layering but really it's just me being lazy ;) I wore this to go out for lunch on a sunday afternoon, nowhere special just an easy burger. I was chilled out and warm (Y) Not sure what possessed me to take photos of this outfit so my apologies.

I seem to of fallen out of love with my wardrobe, my fantasy wardrobe is awesome but real life.. not so much. So i've done a little shopping ;) London is a pretty bad influence but that's what I love about it and I'll share my new bits as I wear them, though i'll need warmer weather for some! I'm sure i'm not the only one wishing spring and summer would hurry up right? Dying to pull out the pastels and ditch my coat! Though i'd happily keep my beanies right through the year as i'm living in them at the moment! :)

How are you all doing? I've had a bit of a blog catch up this weekend which means my head is buzzing with clothes and jewellery I need to shop, places I have to go and how to redecorate my lounge (if I could). I haven't had much time to read blog posts recently which makes me sad, but then as you've probably noticed I haven't had time to post either. There is so much I want to tell and show you, even more so after reading so much today!

The main things; my new job is amazeballs! I love it. My style is going down hill as i'm fed up with my wardrobe so I definitely need to do some shopping and quick! I'm in london again this week coming and will be at TOWIB on saturday so I look forward to meeting so many of you again!

As an apology for my slackness I am holding a giveaway that I should of held in December! :O How rubbish is that.. Apologies to all of you and a huge one to the lovely and ever so patient Faye of Wired Jewellery. The fact of the matter is that I have worn these earrings to death but having time to photograph myself recently has been more than impossible but here they are! And aren't thy awesome.. People seem to have a bit of a thing for triangles recently, people being me included, I just love harsh lined patterns and jewellery so these are right up my street. Plus they work really well with my new MK watch :D

i missed you from far away for far too long

I definitely need to get back into the swing of taking photos, these are horrendous! Sorry guys!

I'm more and more regularly reaching for these super skinny black jeans, i've needed a pair for a while but put off buying some topshop ones which is where I normally would buy my jeans. My sister pointed out her jeans are only £9-£11 from primark and she's never had issues with them so after thinking about it for about a month I investigated and was pleasantly surprised! They're quite thin but that's what I need from a pair of jeans as the weather changes, thicker than leggings but thinner than your average denim. For a bit of extra warmth I wear thick long socks under boots and long tops or jumpers. The thing about these jeans is that they are SO easy to wear and accessorise, there's not an on trend colour trans-season that won't work well with them and that's why i'm a little addicted ;)

Does anyone else feel suffocated by football at the moment or is that just me? It's everywhere. I'm on the train each morning with lads around me talking about the man city /united game, lunch break at work and the same happens, at home I have to watch it, go over a mates for a few drinks and chilled night out and in the background is cheering shouting stamping and 'oh ref ref ref!!' It amazes me how into it some people get. I get that I don't understand it and I don't have the passion but people get so overly emotionally, it's like a new form of patriotism but for each city or so. To football fans.. please know that i'm not dissing football, i'm just amazed at peoples reactions to it so please don't comment defending it because I will never understand ;)
