7 Fantastic Wall Treatments

Moving into a new home, renovating, and redecorating all have at least one thing in common – painting. Painting is one of the cheapest and easiest ways to personalize and completely change the “feel” of a space. However, today I want to inspire you to consider other fantastic wall treatments for your home!
1. Painted Stripes
Although painting stripes on a wall or ceiling is time consuming (measuring and taping off), it is still a wonderful, frugal wall treatment. The possibilities are endless. You can paint wide stripes, narrow stripes, horizontal, vertical and even zig-zag stripes – if you’re the brave, adventurous sort.
2. Vinyl Decals
Vinyl decals are a great choice for creating a focal point on a wall. I’ve seen vinyl decals applied on one wall in a child’s room. They look a bit like a stencil, but are more spaced out. The commitment factor to using vinyl decals is much less than painting a design on the wall, so for people who hesitate to commit, vinyl wall decals are the way to go.

Easy DIY Paper Hearts
