About Me

Hmmmm...how to describe me as a foodie? I eat with my eyes, and my eyes are always too big for my stomach! I love my food, constantly hungry. I love browsing thru cookbooks to look at photos.

I am the Queen of Desserts, I love my sweets but I am hopeless at baking. I once nuked a donut! Nowadays, I make sure that I study the recipe a few times before I try them due to an epic macaron fail. Sigh! It's like Java programming, once fail twice shy!.. I can't bake to save my life ;(

I have a love for food photography and travel, being an ex cabin crew for Singapore Airlines, I can't shake off this travel bug. So now, I lugged my DSLR everywhere I go. I am shameless, I take photos of everything. My son has refused to go travelling with me because I am such a foodie freak.

I am not a Chef, I have no qualifications in the kitchen. I used resources from the Internet for recipes and learn from trial and error. My mother is a great cook, I inherited her love of cooking, but my talent for cooking is pale in comparison to her's. I can only try to imitate her.

In summary, I love food and travel and food photography. My first love is travel, I want to see the world, and being an ex cabin crew, I have done a bit of travelling. I like cooking and taking photos of food. All my friends know, not to touch their plate before I photograph their meal.

My dream would be to have a job like Anthony Bourdain's of No Reservations. He gets to travel everywhere and eat everything.
