Have you heard of the Tenga Egg at Babeland? It is a nifty little masturbation sleeve for men. However, it makes a pretty cool textured cover for my Hitachi Magic Wand too. Why should the boys have all the fun?

Tenga Egg Textures

As I stated above, Tenga Eggs are meant to be used as masturbation sleeves for men and I have heard they are quite effective for that purpose. They are one-time use masturbation sleeves, and they come in really fun packaging. The Tenga Egg comes inside an actual plastic shaped egg just like the ones you get at Easter with jellybeans in them. To open it, you peel off the outer plastic wrapping and crack the egg in half. Inside is the Tenga Egg and inside the Tenga Egg is a small packet of Tenga brand lubricant stuffed inside a plastic tube. It comes with everything a man needs to get started. As a woman, all you need to add is a wand of some sort with a large enough head to fit inside the Tenga Egg. Babeland suggests the Hitachi Magic Wand and the Vibratex Mystic Wand.

This cool little egg is about 3″ tall and almost 6.5″ in circumference. Therefore, the Tenga Egg itself is slightly smaller than this in its unstretched form. As you can see from the pictures, it stretches like nobody’s business. So no matter how well-endowed the man is, it should fit the head of his penis, and it easily fits my Hitachi Magic Wand. The included lubricant packet has Japanese writing and images to show men how to use the Tenga Egg.

The Tenga Egg is made of super soft and squishy TPE, which is an elastomer. Elastomers are semi-porous so if you share your Tenga Egg be sure to do so only with fluid-bonded partners. TPE is phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, and body-safe. The Tenga Egg is meant to be a one-time use toy but if you are gentle with it, the Egg can be reused, especially if you are using it as a sex toy cover as I am. If you do reuse your Tenga Egg, you can wash it gently with antibacterial soap and warm water or use your favorite sex toy cleaner.

Tenga Eggs come singly or in a six pack egg carton and both can be purchased from Babeland. There are six different textures of Tenga Eggs, Silky, Stepper, Twister, Clicker, Wavy, and Spider, which is what I have. Each texture is different and provides a unique sensation to the user. When you purchase a six pack, you receive one of each texture so you can try them all.

Though I am using my Tenga Egg as a cover for my Hitachi Magic Wand, I will briefly go over how to use it as a male masturbator. After opening the Tenga Egg, squeeze some lubricant inside and stretch the sleeve down over the head of the penis. Using your hand to grip the Tenga Egg on the head of the penis, stroke away and enjoy. To use the Tenga Egg as a sex toy cover, turn it inside out so the texture is on the outside and stretch it over the head of your wand massager. The Tenga Egg is extremely stretchy but you still want to be gentle with it so it does not tear.

The TPE used for the Tenga Egg is just awesome. It is the squashiest material ever and is so much fun to play with I wish I had a penis of my own. I just love squishing it around in my hands. It feels good against my body as well, especially as it has a small protrusion that appears on the very tip of my Hitachi Magic Wand. This feels great against my nipples and clit. I don’t notice the Spider texture as much as I feel the cushiness of the TPE, but I think that’s to be expected. I do notice it somewhat against my labia, but I’m not sure I would be able to differentiate between the different textures with my eyes closed.

The main reason I like the Tenga Egg so much for masturbation is that while I love my Hitachi Magic Wand, I dislike the vinyl head quite a lot. I just prefer not to have vinyl against my vagina, especially as it cannot be disinfected. The Tenga Egg is the perfect solution. I also really like the squashiness of the TPE against my body. It feels so soft and cushy. I seem to be able to use it as a cover indefinitely, as I am not sharing it with anyone else. I’ve been using it for over a month now and I see no wear and tear. Of course, I am very careful when putting it on and removing it from my Hitachi Magic Wand. I store it in its little egg container after I’ve washed it and let it air dry and it seems just as happy as the day I opened it.

Tenga Egg Pros:
• Deliciously squashy
• Keeps the vinyl off my body
• Protruding tip
• Price (as a Massager cover)

Tenga Egg Cons:
• Picks up lint
• Cannot sterilize to share between non-fluid bonded partners
• Price (as a one time use masturbation sleeve)

The Tenga Egg is a rather cool little cover for my Hitachi Magic Wand. It is a great alternative to the vinyl head of the Hitachi. However, as a device to enhance the Hitachi Magic Wand, I am not bowled over. If you only use the Tenga Egg once I think it would be rather pricey but for the number of times I’ve used it thus far I think it’s a great deal, especially compared to some of the high cost Hitachi Magic Wand Attachments. Granted, I haven’t tried any other attachments yet so I don’t have anything to compare it to at this point. Overall, I think I’m more in love with the idea of the Tenga Egg for my Hitachi Magic Wand than I am with the Egg itself. So while I like it, it’s not fabulous.

Head over to Babeland to check out the Tenga Egg, the Hitachi Magic Wand and the fun attachments they have available, the Deluxe G Spotter and the Gee Whiz.
