Many internet marketers out there put themselves under so much pressure to make money instantly that they burn themselves out within weeks of starting. I know. I have been there. So it is important to accept that instant riches are not likely to happen and that every millionaire Guru out there has had to serve their apprenticeship before they started to pull in their “instant riches”.

So, with this in mind, I think it is important to have fun with your business. Find joy in the social networks and build lasting relationships with your online network marketing teams, so that you grow together, enjoy each others company and be there to support one another when times may get a little tough…… and… of course… celebrate together when things are going well.

There are lots of inspiring people out there that you can lean on in times of difficulty….. your online community partners I mean and those leaders who put themselves out there. Never forget family and friends either…..but truly, you need to find places on the internet that uplift you and support you when times are tough……. and then be there when times get tough for them.

I love Goethe, who says that; “Whatever you can do or Dream You Can Begin it, because boldness has genius power and magic in it”

My personal mentor, Raymond Sun, often comes out with this quote, “What man can dream he can achieve.”

But sometimes these words, however accurate, may seem shallow as defeat stares you in the face. Remember though, there are so many stories and true accounts of people who make the breakthrough just as they are at their lowest ebb. Just as Churchill has said: “Never give in, never, never, never give in“, when asked what was the secret of success.

You will have heard the story of the man who stopped “Three Feet From Gold” in the book “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill, I am sure.

He tells the  man who found a piece of land that had promising gold deposits, After convincing some relatives and friends he managed to get enough money to buy the machinery necessary to mine the gold ore.

But a few weeks later, having initially hit some gold deposits, he lost the vein of gold ore. Desperately, he and his colleagues drilled to try and find the vein of gold deposits again. But to no avail. Eventually, after digging many weeks, he decided to quit.

He sold the machinery to a junk man for a few hundred dollars and went back home. Luckily, the junk man was smart. He got a mining engineer to come and look at the mine. The engineer made some calculations and showed the junk man that the person he bought the machinery from had quit just three feet away from where the gold deposits were. Had he continued digging he would have found the gold. The junk man had truly struck it rich and made millions of dollars in ore from the mine.

This story illustrates very well the Chinese proverb that “One moment of patience may ward off great disaster. One moment of impatience may ruin a whole life.”
