Fresh off the hit reality tv show Rock Star: INXS, Australian rockers INXS are still making news with it’s new singer JD Fortune of Canada.

According to Reuters INXS single debuts at # 37 on Billboard’s Hot 100.

While that may not be a big suprise, what is a suprise is that INXS has never had a song debut that high in the charts in it’s 22 plus years as a band.

Back in the day the first INXS chart single, The One Thing, peaked at No. 30 in 1983.

I remember seeing the video on MTV and loving it… that really dates me, and the band… yipes.
