Catherine D. Bertram is an experienced consumer justice attorney. She is a Partner with the firm. Her entire practice is focused on obtaining justice for patients who have been injured and families who lost loved ones through no fault of their own rather, as result of preventable errors during delivery of health care. Before joining Regan Zambri & Long, Ms. Bertram was the Director of Risk Management at Georgetown University Hospital.  She knows how hospitals and doctors work and understands how safe health care can and should be delivered.  In her prior role, Ms. Bertram was involved in the development of the patient safety program at Georgetown University Hospital.  Ms. Bertram was a member of key hospital committees, including patient safety and medication safety.  Because of her experience in hospitals and her background, Ms. Bertram is uniquely able to understand the issues that cause patient injury and to identify what should have been done to prevent these tragic occurrences.
