I only have more or less eighteen weeks left working away from home. Yes! Right now, I am as excited as a mother waiting to see her newborn son in the rooom after delivery. Whew! Now I am envisioning my sweet homecoming. These are the things which make me charged up every time I think about 18 weeks: 1. the new house; 2. my family; 3. my long lost friends; 4. and of course getting my things done most especially my diploma. 18 weeks? Yes! and everytime I encounter bad things here, I always think about these things and the dwindling days I’ve got here in Rui’an. Oh well,,,just don’t mind me blabbering here. It just shows how excited I am to come home very very soon.

As the old adage goes, ‘There’s always a light at the end of the tunnel’. I have been through a storm these past few weeks and I myself can say it’s not easy. It’s so hard for me to focus while being clouded with problems in the midst of working in a far away country. Whew! is all I can say. After a few attempts of writing an entry on my blogs it’s only this week that I finally found myself focused if not a bit better to write one. I just couldn’t gather the right words to say even now that I am gradually recuperating myself. Hah! That’s life after all I’ve got to stand up and face the world again. Getting ready for the battles to come. Aja!

There are times when I find myself in the midst of weird imaginings. At times I feel so lonely in the midst of a party crowd. Other times I’m alienated with people whom I know my friends. Close friends at that need space and time. Have you experienced this kind of feeling? If so, how did you manage it? I know this is weird but yes it’s true to some people. And I am no exception. No matter how weird I am as I thought could be but I have to embrace myself and my uniqueness. Have you? Well, as what my friends call it, ‘the blues’ which is a normal thing I guess. Grins.

I’m very much excited to go to Shanghai tomorrow and now I am getting ready for my upcoming trip with my colleagues – Anelie, Fran, and Louise. We are going to take the sleeper bus going there. Anelie and I are going to stay there for three days and then go to Hangzhou then stay there for two nights and three days. I am pretty excited now really to go there for the second time and this time it’s gonna be fun and memorable. I only passed by that place on my way to my last year. Tomorrow’s gonna be real excursion and adventure! Smiles.

Waxberry picking in a nearby town? Yes, that is. My friend notified my this morning that we are going to push through with our planned getaway with Little, our closest nurse friend here in RuiAn. I was quite surprised for I never thought that we are going today. I knew before that we are going there this Thursday so I asked when and where. Ann told me it’s gonna be at lunch time and that means in a few minutes from the time I woke up, 10a.m. that was. So I hurriedly got out of bed did my laundry and took a ducky shower and head off to meet our friend. Though I wasn’t able to fix myself primly, I was still excited and rearing to go to that waxberry farm of our host – Mr. Wang. He is the doctor colleague of Little. So off we went with eight other colleagues and university friends of Little and Mr. Wang. Our host’s hometown is quite near to our city which is about 20 minutes drive by car from the city proper.

When we arrived at our host’s hometown we were greeted with friendly neighbors and the welcoming father of our host. I was so impressed with the people around that little village. They were so friendly and even they offered us help when we somehow got lost along the way to the farm. We climbed up to the tall mountain where the waxberry farm is and where we will have our first time to pick a waxberry fruit for the first time right from its tree. I really enjoyed my time though I was very hungry at that time that I didn’t care putting some into my little basket. I put all waxberies into my mouth until I was full and couldn’t pick anymore. My friend asked me how was my basket and I just pointed my fingers to my tummy and grinned at her. There she knew that I wasn’t putting many fruits into my basket instead I ate and put many of those in my stomach. Grins.

We went down the mountain with baskets full of waxberries not to mention our heavy-weight tummies. Grins. After our waxberry picking we thought we were heading home but to our surprise that we are going to have dinner in a nearby restaurant famous for its grilled fish and beef. That was the most filling grub I have ever had. I ate much for I wasn’t able to eat my brunch. Grins. I somehow filled myself and to my heart’s content. The company was so nice as well as the chats. I learned a lot and filled a lot today. Smiles.

Last May 01-03, I and my housemate Ann went to the city of change – Shanghai. People call it city of change since one can experience and see many buildings and shops with its varied businesses change every year. Well, my stay in Shanghai two weeks ago was awesome and certainly fun-filled. We went to many places and one of those is the most popular Oriental Pearl Tower. We got in there at night time so we really enjoyed the scenic overview of the city. It was such a very long queue and I got pissed off really but it was all worth the wait when we reached the peak of the tower. It was really beautiful. Indeed, it goes the same with life and its complexities that once you look on top of every problem there you will realize how to get away with it. I am sharing my captured photo while I was on top of the famous Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai which could summarize all the things in my mind right now. Smiles.

What’s Creative-Gen all about?

Actually, I based this title with the name of the person whom I want to help financially through blogging. Supposedly she should be the owner of this blog. Her n-name is Gen and she’s so creative for she’s into exterior decorations and the like. Well, she’s a BS-Fine Arts grad from one of the exclusive popular sectarian school in our place. Since, she said, she doesn’t have time so I have to utilize this blog since I started creating this. Well, it’s never too late for this site though. I’ll just try to see to it that I can post something in here from time to time.

Anyway, there’s another meaning for the title Creative-Gen. It’s like a short cut for Creative-Genius. Well, in the blogging world, there’s always creativity. And when you are into blogging, meaning you are creative in your own way. Whether you know about HTML, PHP, XML, etc or not, as long as you believe in blogging, you are creative in your own way. Being a Creative-Genius doesn’t required that you will know about website template things or anything, as long as you know how to hold the mouse, type on the keyboard have a little English when English is not your first language, that’s all that matters. Creative-Genius really has beliefs in the unbelievable things and will try to find the best/positive ways to have little additional things in life.
