No Rose? No problem.

THREE double-doubles from Luol Deng (23 pts, 10 ast), Joakim Noah (15 pts, 16 reb), and Carlos Boozer (23 pts, 15 reb) led Da Bulls to a 89-80 finish over the Celts.

npr:

The meteoric rise of New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin has echoes of Tim Tebow, the Denver Broncos quarterback who caused such a stir last fall. Of course, Tebow was a college superstar at the University of Florida, while Lin played in relative obscurity at Harvard. But both began their pro careers as bench warmers. As their teams struggled, they were finally given a chance, and became overnight sensations as they turned their teams into winners. Here’s a rough comparison: Lin Vs. Tebow

The official Twitter account of the 2012 All Star Game has announced the participants in this year’s Slam Dunk contest:

  • Derrick Williams, Minnesota Timberwolves
  • Iman Shumpert, New York Knicks
  • Paul George, Indiana Pacers
  • Chase “Ginger Balls” Budinger, Houston Rockets

If this was the best that the Association could do, then they should’ve canceled the slam dunk contest all together.

Good to see the Buss family, who are always classy, and Shaq both taking the high road. No matter how you slice it, this it great for the NBA.
