Josh Lewin became the radio play-by-play voice of the Chargers in July 2005. He has been the television play-by-play announcer for the MLB Texas Rangers since 2002. Since 1996, Josh has broadcast baseball, divisional playoffs, championship series, NFL and NHL games for FOX Sports. From 1998-2001, Josh called Detroit Tigers games on Fox Sports Net Detroit and Chicago Cubs games on WGN-TV in 1997. He broadcast Baltimore Orioles games on radio from 1995-96.
Josh's NFL experience includes play-by-play on SportsUSA Radio Network. He has broadcast Conference USA Football, CCHA Hockey, college basketball at Michigan State and SMU, and the Big 12 Basketball Tournament. Josh began his broadcasting career at the age of 16 with the Rochester Red Wings, the Baltimore Orioles Triple-A team in the International League. In 1994, he was the sports director at the Orioles' flagship station, WBAL. Josh graduated from Northwestern in 1990 and has written two books, "Getting in the Game" and "You Never Forget Your First". Josh and his wife, Dana, have a daughter, Kelsey, and a son, Coby.
