| OFFICIAL OPENING BY MINISTER OF ENERGY & INDUSTRY |
WaterWorld Middle East 2012 along with co-located POWER-GENMiddle East, was officially opened by the Minister of Industry and Energy, H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada on Monday 6 February 2012 at the Qatar National Convention Centre, Doha, Qatar.
The opening address featured keynote speakers:
- H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry, Qatar
- H.E. Eng. Essa Bin Hilal Al-Kuwari, President, KAHRAMAA, Qatar

Following the Opening Keynote Speeches, His Excellency officiated the Ribbion Cutting Ceremony to formally open the conference and exhibition and embarked on an extensive tour of the exhibition floor.
