She’s a brilliant, insightful, compelling paradigm shifter who went from making less than $28,000 a year managing a $5M (now bankrupt) bookstore business to earning over $150,000 a year as a soloprenuer (including $32,000 in August 2011 alone).
When it comes to making money beautiful, this woman knows what she’s talking about.

How to Cure Loneliness
{Source}
You’re a smart, interesting, charming rockstar–and you know it. Every day you’re working your darndest to create a life you love, a life that really looks and feels like your most radiant, unadulterated, luminous self. And while every day isn’t perfect, you know each one is bringing you closer to who and where you want to be.
But in the far off corners of your mind, a whispering little voice keeps reminding you how *off* things really are. That you’re missing something–you’re not quite as far along the path as you’d like to think.
So you work harder. You do more. You make sure you look good, sound good, and do good as things get checked off your “To Do” list. And people celebrate you for it. They want to be in your presence, shower you with accolades, celebrate your accomplishments and throw parades for your contributions.
Over time, the nagging whispers are subsumed by busyness and validation so you keep pushing through. You fill your life with more errands, activities, and obligations. From the outside it looks like you have it all together. And sometimes it even feels that way.
But deep down inside you know something is still missing.

Creating What You Really, Really Want in 2012
Over the years I’ve spent New Years Eve in many ways. Meditating in a 10-day silent retreat, praying in sweatlodges, partying at the club, sleeping in my bed and participating in sacred ceremony are some of my favorite.
Regardless of where I am, one of my most valued New Years practices involves being intentional about what I want to happen AFTER the clock strikes midnight.
Although resolutions have their place, they usually don’t inspire me very much. I’m way more interested in being madly, deeply, wildly in love with my life over the long haul.
In this week’s video, I share a super simple, fool-proof way to ensure that I am in alignment, on purpose and creating a life I love every day of the year.
Once you’ve watched the video, leave me a comment below about what you’re intending for 2012.
If you found this useful, please pass this it on to someone you think might benefit.

I get my ideas out of my dreams… if you’re lucky enough to use something you see in a dream, it is purely original. It’s not in the world — it’s in your head. I think that is amazing.

How to Survive the Holidays with Your Family
Sometimes, we grow up in families that love, celebrate, honor and cherish us every single day.
Sometimes, our families never seem to understand us.
Sometimes, we jive well until adulthood, but when we come over to visit, they still treat us like a 15-year-old who needs to managed, monitored and molded.
There are the times when our ideas/philosophies/beliefs/values/lifestyle/politics are so different than the ones we were raised with, we find it difficult to create a grownup bond with our family, despite how much we love them.
This experience can be particularly amplified if you’re spending a lot of intimate time with your family over the holidays.
How can you get along with your kin AND stay true to yourself?
In today’s video for SisterFire TV, I share with you 3 quick tips for authentically taking care of yourself and lovingly connecting to your family.
If you found this useful, please pass this it on to someone you think might benefit. We all deserve to be happy–especially during the HolyDays!
