Description

Formula’s race version of the R1 features a carbon fiber lever blade and titanium hardware. At just 270 grams, it is the lightest production disc brake on the market. Forging the master cylinder and caliper provides an extremely stiff and durable platform, while more exotic materials are used to shave extra grams. The R1 Racing is the pinnacle of disc brake technology today. Upgrades included:

  • Carbon Lever blade
  • Titanium hardware

  • Forged radial master cylinder
  • Patent-pending high capacity integrated reservoir
  • New higher capacity (25% larger) fluid reservoir and new diaphragm for better heat control
  • Removable handlebar clamp
  • Flip-flop master cylinder assembly

  • Hard anodized master cylinder piston
  • Laser etched logo
  • Titanium caliper mountingbolts and rotors bolts included

  • Forged one-piece post mount caliper body with 22mm pistons
