Vue Weekly is starting a new way for you to enter contests, increase your chances of winning, and get FREE STUFF!
Introducing the Vue Weekly Freeloader Points system!
Freeloader points can be used to get Free Stuff... and they can give you a much better chance in our contests too!
For example, when you enter this Ben Folds contest, if you were to earn, let's say, 20 points during the run of the contest (don't worry, it's really easy to earn points!) you are going to be 20 times more likely to win the contest than someone who only earned only 1 point. that's because in this contest you will get 1 (one) entry into the contest for every point you earn during the contest. You don't even have to enter multiple times, you just get free entry for each point automatically!
Here's how the point system works:
Once you are entered into the contest with this entry form, you simply have to do one or many of the following actions to earn points:
Just for opening the First Read newsletter - 2 pts
For each Story you open - 1 pt
For Forwarding First Read to a friend - 2 pts
For Opening our online print edition - 2 pts
For clicking an ad - 2 pts
For entering a contest - 1 pt
You already have one point this week, just for entering this contest! How much easier can this be?
Vue Weekly normal contest rules
Unless otherwise mentioned, the following contest rules will apply:
- Each contest shall only allow one entry per person.
- Contest winners must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Prizes must be accepted as awarded.
- Enterers personal information will not be sold, but may be offered to sponsors of contests without the permission of those who enter.
- No person shall qualify to win a prize more frequently than once every 60 days.
- Vue Weekly reserves the right to exclude anyone from our contests.
- No staff, sponsors or members of their immediate families may enter.
- The personal information of those who enter will not be sold but may be provided to contest sponsors.
- The chances of winning depend on the number of entries received.
- By entering, entrants consent to the use of their names by Vue Weekly for publicity,
- Vue Weekly is not responsible for prizes unclaimed after 15 days.
- By entering with an email address, one authorizes oneself to be added to FIRST READ (our weekly email newsletter).
