Tied Together Nike x (RED) 24 Hour Relay
Description
Tied Together, a global Nike initiative to raise awareness around (RED) and the fight against HIV and Aids, is organizing a six day multi-sport relay race across six cities in the run up to the World Cup.
Each city has formed creative teams - including FADER, Colette, Wasted German Youth, Guggenheim, Javier Perez Gallery, Opening Ceremony, Honeyee, Supreme, MTV and many more.
The UK leg of the event was art directed by Kate Moross, with the ISO team taking part in the race. Our team contribution to the exhibition was a modular clock that was used as the time keeper for the relay. The ISO team T-shirt was designed using the numerals from the clock.

Customised chair in collaboration with Ben Adams Architects for the Vitra 50th Anniversary of the Panton Chair. We were asked by Ben Adams Architects to create a lace-like pattern that could be drilled by hand into the chair. Our design was awarded second place judged by Charles Saatchi, TV presenter Kevin McCloud and Designer Terence Conran. The chairs were then auctioned with the proceeds going to Shelter.

A collaboration between ISO founder Kate Moross, video alchemist Hans Lo and graphic designer Jack Featherstone. Pictureplane visited the studio early in the year during a tour with Health and was filmed doing a performance of the track. The video was then processed through multiple formats and sofwares, rotoscoped, layered and remixed to achieve the final result. As the song progresses video becomes more and more layered to echo the structure of the track, interplayed with runes and graphic icons from the sleeve artwork."

As Art Director for Simian Mobile Disco I decided that the first video release for the new record must be different to everything that is current out there.
I invited Alex Sushon to Co-Direct the film with me, due to his knowledge and experience with musical structure, and refined eye for projected and synchronised moving image. We projected the video in Area 10 and filmed a live visual performance during the night and then released it for you all to see. You can watch the video in High Definition here.
