I’m a Cancer Sun/Virgo Moon and my approach to Astrology and doing readings and life itself is spiritual, philosophical, and practical.

I’m compassionate while looking for solutions.

Your chart tells you (and me) who you are. The transits tell you (and me) the energy at work in your life: is it expressive flowing energy? Or are there blocks? Probably some of both!

You can ask me about your spiritual life, your love life, your work and career, your dreams, your family, your pets, death and grieving, depression and moods, money, the list goes on. And I am always happy to add Tarot to any reading.

Types of Readings: we can explore natal themes, current transits, Solar Return, chart comparison/synastry, or even look at one aspect of your chart such as your Venus or your Moon or your Nodes and life purpose. (And of course this is just a short list.)

You can design your own reading — some clients consult me without a single question and just say “Go! Follow your instincts! Tell me what I need to know.”

Rates:

15 minute email readings: $35 

These are great for New or Full Moons or any focused topic.

30 minute email readings: $60

More time means more depth and more information. I love the 30 minute reading for exploring current transits + Tarot.

60 minute readings: $100

Ah the classic reading length! Wonderful for natal themes + transits + ???? whatever you want.

2-hour readings: $185

Wide lens, deep focus work. Lots of back and forth. A true conversation develops. Lots of elbow room and time for questions.

The Month Ahead Reading: $250 (email only)

This is a NEW reading that I’m offering. These are not computerized reports. I use my gut instincts/third-eye, like always, but combine it with a lot more information. I start with an overview of important planetary movement (and where it lands in your chart) and then zoom-in for more detailed work about particular transits. These readings cost more because of the time it takes and the detail involved to create an accurate portrait of what to expect.

    I like your take on astrology, Moonpluto.
    I’m building some courage to have my chart looked at by you, particularly since we share some similarities.
    Why “courage”? Truth can be confronting and I am feeling a touch vulnerable. Pesky PMS…

      Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate it spacer I’m sensitive when I look at a chart, but you also never know how something is gonna affect someone. And I agree… when someone looks at your chart (and I’ve had mine looked at over the years by different people and I will again because I love it).. you really have to be in the mood. I agree with that.

      Another point though: if you wanted me, or someone else even, whoever, to look at your chart, you can ask for what you want. You *can* say: I am feeling sensitive, please deal with me with extra kindness. And then see what they say. Feel them out. And sometimes, one just wants the good news and to know the gifts and strengths and to leave the difficulties for another time. So I get it. Just sayin’.

    I have had the same question, Virgo rising or Leo rising? For years I thought it was Leo and so found myself acting like a leo rising but never felt like it was really me. I do have Leo Mars however. Finally a good astrologer said, look to the midheaven. Is it Gemini or Taurus? How many jobs have you had? Has your career path been relatively stable and one-track (Taurus ) or have you had multiple careers? For me it’s definitely a Gemini midheaven, so the problem is solved and I can be relatively comfortable as the Virgo rising I am — even though Leo might be more fun. Hopefully this helps you, too. From your posts I’d guess Virgo.

What complicates it for me is that I have personal planets in Virgo and Leo so… I could come across as either. I look Leo but act Virgo I think. And then when certain key planets change houses? And the NN as well…. I just really want to know and probably won’t until a quality rectification.

    I just had my chart and tarot reading done…Aliza is awesome!!!She is very kind and understanding while extremely knowledgeable with questions,aspects and transits… I highly recommend her to anyone reading this and her blog to try it out for themselves…. I have had other charts done by some astrology bloggers who talk a great talk online but stink at any knowledge on ones chart.     Your comments on a 12th house Venus gave me a new perspective, re what you said about needing to be free. I’ve a Capricorn Venus squared by a lat Virgo Neptune. Altogether, yes, I will be the scapegoat or sacrificial lamb until I get tired of the role, when it no longer bears fruit or I’m not satisfying my needs because I’m too busy bolstering you up. And if I need something, where are all those people that had my shoulder to cry on and counseling that helped. Ingrates I do not appreciate. As a Scorpio whose Venus is hidden, squared by Mars, too, I’ve come a long way, baby, with an ideal romance that just this past year and a half decided to dump on me. And when I said, “nope, not accepting that for I was there, ” a standoff. Mars in Aries trine a Leo Pluto is a saving grace.

    I had a new moon mini-reading. $25 well spent and I got much more than 15 minutes worth of advice. Aliza is thoughtful, competent, caring and helpful with her words of astrological advice. I will do a longer reading next time and I would definitely recommend a reading with her.
