April 30th, 2011 - 14:42Hello,
I have been using your excellent plugin for almost a month now but there are some links that it canNOT save (resulting in empty images). Those are the ones like:
…/blablabla/IrvingPenn’CretanWomen’1964.jpg
I found out that this happens because when grabbing the image it gets translated to:
…/blablabla/IrvingPenn%2527CretanWomen%25271964.jpgCan this be fixed? Otherwise it works fine.
Thank you for your work and efforts - neobie
April 30th, 2011 - 20:59@marikamitsos: Thanks for your feedback! Will get back to you soon

May 27th, 2011 - 14:41This is a great great great plugin! I’d like to write this plugin months ago, but, since I haven’t fully understand about WordPress Hooks, I finally ended up writing a custom CMS rather than a plugin
So, this is the plugin that I’ve been longing for!!
@marikamitsos: Use this plugin in tandem with Media File Renamer plugin. Works like a charm.

June 26th, 2011 - 02:18Hi,
I first wanted to say thanks for this great plugin.
I’d like to use the code in this plugin directly in my php code so that I can grab images from a variable url, rather than type them in using the plugin interface/post page. How can I do this?
Thanks again!
- Mark
June 26th, 2011 - 02:19Or (continuing)…what code do I need to copy and portions do I need to change?
Thanks for the help!

June 26th, 2011 - 12:39Hi Mark,
What kind of PHP code you mentioned? and what kind of method you will be using by “so that I can grab images from a variable url”? - Mark
June 28th, 2011 - 11:12Hi, I actually got it working! Didn’t think it would be as simple as it was. Thanks for the response anyhow! Keep up the great work.

July 5th, 2011 - 20:35Hi, and first of all thanks for this great plugin. It’s very useful and well made.
Can I ask if it’s possible to integrate it with plug-in like “Resize-on-upload” or “Resize At Upload Plus” (which basically do the same thing: resize too big uploaded images to a max width and height) in order to avoid uploads of too large images that broke themes and waste web space?
I know that I can set the size of posted images through media panel in WordPress, but this way also full-size image is uploaded, wasting lot of web space (which is limited by my host).
Or maybe it could be simpler to add an option to your plugin? I’m sorry to ask you, I would do it by myself if I was not such a php dumb!
Bye and thanks anyway. - neobie
July 5th, 2011 - 21:39Thank you @fede! Your suggestion would be considered in future development.

December 14th, 2011 - 11:10Hi willy, what version are you using, and did your hosting allow fopen/curl?
Or can you let me know the URL of your blog - keith
December 15th, 2011 - 21:17hi, this a great plugin but it would be REALLY cool to have it parse the url from the editor box (like oembed) and add the media directly instead of having to use the media uploader.
is this possible?
thanks
