ABC10 the Agile Decade: Maturity ~ Evolution ~ Reality

2012 is the tenth anniversary of the Agile Business Conference. To reflect this, the theme for this year’s Conference is the maturity, evolution and reality of Agile as the de-facto standard for the management, development and delivery of Projects, Programmes and Products in the 21st century, across the Public and Private Sectors.  For the last decade the ABC has provided a simple point of entry for the entire Agile audience.

We have again planned an interactive practical Agile learning experience, across four tracks – all focussed on the practical implementation of Agile.

The four streams of ABC10 the 2012 Conference are:

Agile First Steps: Assess ~ Understand ~ Implement

Designed for Individuals, Teams or Organisations who are interested in Agile and want to know/understand where and how to start – or for those who need to review/revise/reboot their use of Agile

Agile for Public Sector: Governance ~ Coexistence ~ Delivery

For Public Sector individuals, teams and organisations who seek to understand the
practicalities of Agile, as outlined within the Government’s ICT Strategy

Agile for the Financial Sector: Complexity ~ Regulations ~ Governance

Understanding how Agile works effectively in an environment with a need for business, architectural and legislative governance and / or needing to understand and overcome the challenges of an Agile corporate roll-out

Agile Governance and Project Management: Portfolio ~ Resources ~ Programmes

For Teams and Organisations that have established Agile practices and realised the benefits, and now seek to leverage those established “best practices” and roll them out across the organisation

There will also be a rolling programme of “Vendor Events” for Agile Service providers to
hold Workshops, BoF sessions and presentations.

ABC10 2012 is the major Agile Conference for Europe and provides a single Forum for
everyone who has an interest in Agile:

  • How to Evaluate and Start Agile
  • How to Learn, Review and Improve Agile
  • Agile Governance, Project Management and Co-existence
  • How to Roll-out Agile to the Enterprise and/or across Geographies

This year particularly we are emphasising the need for interactive sessions and workshops,
and the Call for Sessions is now open to everyone, with more details available here:
