I grew up in Tampa, Fl and moved to New York City in June 2010 with my daughter Harlan after being away from my husband MacKay for nine months.
I have a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in Communications and a minor in Meteorology. My dream job was to be a meteorologist on TV, but family was more of a priority at the time. I have worked on live television while in college and post college worked in public relations and education.
I started this website in October 2010 to chronicle my journey with my daughter of our new experiences in New York City as well as share some of my favorite things that I have found while living here.
