If you don’t know how Threadless works, it’s a t-shirt voting site where the designs that get the best votes get to be made into real shirts and we get paid for our trouble. And the payout from this will definitely help grease the wheels to get Volume 2 produced, I tell you what.

Geek of the Week!

In case it’s not clear to anyone, just so’s you know: We intend to sell the buttons as sets, with plans to roll out several new sets after another. Each set will be a mere $4.99, and the posters just $9.99.
Secondly: Geekadelphia, an awesome local geek blog, has done me the honor of making me their Geek of the Week over Guilded Age and the book and whatnot. I’m taking all the credit I ought to be, but let me share some of that with you, my darling Guildies. If you weren’t reading this tale of ours, it wouldn’t be here. Thank you all for supporting GA so I can get one step closer to Internet Famous. You guys rule.
The Big Damn Merch Poll!
by Phil on January 6, 2012 at 1:54 pmHAWM, Guildies! We need your help picking out some merch! Right now we’re working mostly with two basic concepts:
1) Button packs featuring your favorite comment avatar images.
2) Prints/posters/stickers of your favorite wallpapers.
So we have the polls running in the albums on our Facebook and Google+ pages. Use the Like and +1 buttons, respectively, to pick out any and all images you’d most like to see on a piece of merch so we can figure out what you guys would like the most! We also encourage you to leave comments that say what kind of merch you’re most interested in for a given image (button/sticker/poster/t-shirt, etc).
And here in this post’s comments, feel free to tell us any other thing you’d want from us! We are very much in the business of giving you guys the best we can. Is there another image from the comic that you think we should totally be using instead? Please let us know.
We’re ending the poll on Friday the 13th in time for Katsucon, so please give us a few moments of your time and vote for your favorites!
UPDATE: One lucky random pollster will receive a special One of Everything Pack! This includes book, stickers, a shirt, and the goods we develop as the result of this poll. You must vote in one of the previously mentioned albums to be eligible. Vote now for a chance to win the prize!
