Best known for his night shots of suburban houses, desolate landscapes
obscured by rain and snow, and uneasy, haunting portraits, alumnus
and Photography professor Todd Hido (MFA 1996) has a winning vision.

CCA's latest video underscores the value of the undergraduate
art exhibition experience. Students connect with peers, while
developing valuable presentation skills.

Todd Shalom's (MFA Writing 2004) Elastic City, a conceptual
walk organization, has been lauded by the New York Times,
the Economist -- even illustrated in the New Yorker!

Michael Sun (Graphic Design 2010), graphic designer for the
Houston Rockets: "I feel so fortunate and blessed when I think
about my instructors, classmates, and the whole process."

Initially a Painting/Drawing major, Jonah Ward switched to Glass --
yet his work still resembles a kind of drawing. Solo exhibitions at
12 Gallagher Lane and a flurry of media attention have followed.

He was originally interested in becoming a product designer,
but switched to Architecture his first year. Today Joseph Becker
is the assistant curator of architecture and design at SFMOMA.

Student-made It Gets Better: CCA is the college's official
entry in a national campaign that uses community outreach via
internet videos to save the lives of LGBTQ youths.

Writing and Literature instructor Justin Hall used his power
for good over evil in CCA's ENGAGE: Queer Comics Project,
in which students documented the tracings of LGBTQ artists.
