I’m a web developer, first and foremost but have many other skills, as noted below. You can also learn more about me on my Google Profile, Facebook Page and LinkedIn.
The best way to reach me is on Google+ or via 140 on Twitter @mywebgal or via the Contact Form here >>
- I build websites, blogs and communities.
- I’m a ghostwriter, published author and copywriter.
- I’m an Internet and Social Media Marketer.
- I’m married.
- My husband’s name is Dan and he’s a really great guy.
- I have one grown daughter (Dawn RaSchell) and two granddaughters (Jazz and Zara).
- I bought my home in Washington State in 2004 and love it here.
- I work online from home (love the commute).
- The Today Show is about the only TV I watch and then it’s generally only the first 20 minutes while I drink my morning two cups of coffee.
- We have a puppy – a rat terrier named Izzy – full of constant energy and curiosity.
- I’ve lived in 12 different states and 53 cities. It’s been a wild ride!
- I was in a rock band for 4 years or so and toured the U.S. and Canada. Awesome time!
- My first job in publishing was in 1981. I was the lead production artist for a national trade magazine. (That’s when we still used hot wax to apply graphics and strips of text to the layout pages!)
- I’ve worked for several other publications before computers were commonplace.
- After that I graduated to desktop publishing and worked for a national franchise of restaurants.
- I eventually became Director of an Advertising Agency in Las Vegas.
- I bought my first PC and came online in 1996.
- Volunteered as a teacher at the Virtual U immediately after coming online. I taught Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer and how to build a personal home page.
- Dan and I lived in a cabin on Mt Shasta for a couple of years and I wrote the content for what was supposed to be books but ended up being the content for two websites (and online classes at VU). The sites are HerbsAndNaturalRemedies.com and Eat-Well-To-Be-Well.com.
- I took my business full-time online in 2001 – web development – and it’s been successful ever since.
- I have learned from quite a few of the big “gurus” through the years. I took Andy Jenkins Video Boss Course, Frank Kern’s Mass Control and John Carlton’s SWS Copywriting System and Jon Morrow’s Blogger’s course. I was a member of Stompernet twice. I’ve seen a lot of seminars with a wide variety of speakers and I’ve bought literally many thousands of dollars of their products. I’ve amassed a huge storehouse of knowledge… As Frank would say, “I have millions of dollars of knowledge between my ears!“
- I’ve worked with some of the gurus and well known marketers, affiliate managers, best-selling authors and International speakers.
- I’m an avid reader and life long learner dedicated to constant self-improvement. (See my recommended reading page here >>)
