POSTED ON November 23, 2011 BY Maria Schamis Turner
Congratulations to Gillian Sze, the winner of the 2011 3Macs carte blanche Prize for her poem, Like This Together, published in Issue 13.
Congratulations also to the finalists: Daniel Ha, for his story A Sunset, and to Howard Scott for his translation of Ex(o)ilium by Rodica Draghincescu.
The juror for this year’s prize was Joseph Salvatore, author of To Assume a Pleasing Shape.
The 3Macs carte blanche Prize is awarded once a year in recognition of an outstanding submission by a Quebec writer, artist, or translator. The prize is sponsored by Mark Gallop, of MacDougall, MacDougall & MacTier Inc.
