Square Enix has now officially announced the release date for Final Fantasy XIII-2.

Final Fantasy XIII-2, the next chapter in the FINAL FANTASY series, will be released on January 31, 2012.

Final Fantasy X for PlayStation 3
It was announced at Square Enix's Tokyo Game Show 2011 conference that Final Fantasy X, also known as Final Fantasy 10, will be available for PlayStation 3.

Final Fantasy X for the PS3 will be an HD port/enhancement.

The Final Fantasy XIII-2 PAX trailer video revelas that Noel may be somehow connected to Lightning and hinting towards Hope, one of the main characters of Final Fantasy XIII, making an appearance. Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for iPhone & iPad
The newly released Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for the PSP®, is now also available for iPhone and iPad.

"The game boasts a rich storyline, which fans of the FINAL FANTASY® series have come to expect. The game also carries on the familiar job system of the series, and introduces new jobs not included in the original PlayStation® release. Final Fantasy XIII-2 release date
In an announcement from Square Enix regarding the Final Fantasy XIII-2 "World To Your Moogle" tour, a more specified release date for Final Fantasy XIII-2 is seen.

"FINAL FANTASY XIII–2 will be available in January 2012 for PlayStation®3 system and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft."

Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
Square Enix announced that FINAL FANTASY TACTICS®: THE WAR OF THE LIONS® is now available for the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system via the PlayStation®Network as of July 19, 2011.

"Since its release in 2007, FINAL FANTASY TACTICS: THE WAR OF THE LIONS has received stellar reviews for its graphics and gameplay from the industry’s top critics. The PlayStation®Network release of the title will give adventurers old and new the opportunity to enter the world of Ivalice and experience a land of imaginative artistic design that provides a sumptuous backdrop to a politically charged tale, where two young men endeavor to reshape the course of history."

Square Enix has announced FINAL FANTASY® XIII-2 "Word To Your Moogle" tour at the San-Diego Comic-Con, on Wednesday, July 20 through Sunday, July 24.

The Final Fantasy XIII-2 event will also be held at at the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX Prime) in Seattle on August 26–28, 2011, and at the New York Comic-Con on October 13-16, 2011.

Participants of the event will have a chance to win prizes including discounted merchandise at the Square Enix Shop, official Word To Your Moogle tour t-shirts, and signed copies of FINAL FANTASY XIII–2, with the latter being awarded at launch.

On June 16, 2011 the Playstation®Network will have new downloadable content for DISSIDIA® 012[duodecim]™ FINAL FANTASY® for the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable).

"The downloadable contents will include exclusive costumes and music, further expanding the DISSIDIA 012[duodecim] FINAL FANTASY experience. Downloads will feature legendary music tracks from renowned composers and classic costumes designed by Tetsuya Nomura."

Final Fantasy XIII-2 E3 trailer
The first Final Fantasy XIII-2 gameplay footage has been shown at this years E3, in a new Final Fantasy XIII-2 trailer.

The Final Fantasy XIII-2 trailer video starts with a cinematic of Lightning, which is an alternate version of what was seen in the Final Fantasy XIIII-2 teaser video. The footage of Final Fantasy XIII-2 trailer video reveals Lightning, Serah and a new character named Noel as playable characters of Final Fantasy XIII-2.

Square Enix announced Final Fantasy XIII-2 for E3
Square Enix has announced it's video game lineup for this year's E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo), and Final Fantasy XIII-2 is among them. E3 is taking place June 7-9, 2011.
