Uematsu and Hamauzu did not compose the FFXII soundtrack. Just thought I’d point that out. Also, the Chrono Trigger track you posted was composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, along with 85% of the game’s soundtrack. Uematsu stepped in to finish a few of the tracks when Mitsuda fell ill, but the vast majority, as well as the “important” tracks were all done by Mitsuda.
Yes, concerned fan is correct with that…The last Final Fantasy Game Uematsu composed on his own was Final Fantasy 9. He helped with FFX but they were just never the same after FF9.
The Final Fantasy XII Original Soundtrack was composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto.Nobuo Uematsu composed only a few issues of this game.Masashi Hamauzu helped compose songs as assistant composer in Final Fantasy X, but after Nobuo left the company became the leading composer of Square-Enix.Masashi Hamauzu as main songwriter has composed the entire soundtrack of Final Fantasy XIII. I hope I have helped.
Is there any way i can post a song i recorded to you? I heard it off an rpg but i don’t have a clue which one, it sounds final fantasy-ish. It has been stuck in my head for years and is really bugging me lol
I’d like to thank you for having a website with such vast amounts of RPG songs/melodies etc. Been searching for it ;p
LOL, The Black Mages. Nobuo Uematsu you are the man!
