Glengoyne 17 Year Old Whisky

When you think of the finest single malt, the mind obviously wanders to Scotland – the birth of this nectar of the Gods, with numerous choices for different palates. Glengoyne is a whiskey close to my heart as the distillery was close to where I lived for a few years up near Glasgow – but the 17 year old has also won numerous awards from San Francisco World Spirits Competition, to Whisky Magazine’s Best of the Best.

I have found the whole Glengoyne range the perfect choice to get someone into whisky due to its smoothness and subtle flavours, and the 17 year old is the best of the lot.
