I always have freelance projects in the works, from marketing materials for corporate clients, to website copy, to feature articles for glossies or newspapers, to ghostwriting–simply, I am available for hire.
As for pay for play–I get it. I was a publicist and know the drill quite well. But, I am a journalist. And I try (really, I do) to not cross lines on those sorts of things. If I write about a product or place, believe me, there’s nothing shady or unethical going on. I write about things I genuinely like or use. That’s all.
