I'm excited to see Rabih Alameddine who is coming out to introduce me in Palo Alto. If you haven't read his novel, The Hakawati, I would. (And I happen to be a big fan of Koolaids: The Art of War, an early book of Rabih's, that I used to make everyone read when I lived in Jerusalem 100 years ago.)
"Join renowned author Nathan Englander as he discusses his newest book, "What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank." Rabih Alameddine, author of The Hakawati, will introduce Mr. Englander.
In his eight new short stories, Englander grapples with the great questions of modern life, displaying a command of language and an imagination that place him at the very forefront of contemporary American fiction." From San Francisco Chronicle
