A Classic Education, "I Lost Time"

By Blake Gillespie » A song inspired by the trials and tribulations of Clive Wearing.

Lefse recording troubadours A Classic Education dropped Hey There Stranger last month - just a little six-song EP of tender indie frolicking.

The song "I Lost Time" is inspired by the life of British musicologist Clive Wearing, who suffered from two types of amnesia, which made it impossible for him to form new memories. By the time you try to imagine what Wearing's condition must be like, meaning the span of 7 to 30 seconds, he's already forgotten everything that has happened in that span. Read how the lyrics are pertinent here. Equally lost in time are the visuals for this video, which was compiled by Enrico Boccioletti.
