Plastic-Free February [a.k.a. Plastic Awareness Month] has come to an end. I think the main takeaway from the challenge is how very saturated our lives are with plastic. Homemade 100% Whole Wheat Honey Bread (without a bread machine)
One of the other last holdouts (besides my nonstick skillet - see above) of Teflon in my kitchen was the bread pan of my bread maker.  When it started showing scratches and signs of wear and the weather turned colder, I decided to try mixing my bread in a standing mixer and baking it in the oven instead.  Making your own anything (and reusing your container) reduces a lot of plastic garbage and recycling!
