Virginia Keeping is a professional storyteller who delights adults and children in:

Ms Keeping is most noted for her historical portrayal series of Molly Bannaky, the 17th century English grandmother of Benjamin Banneker, the first African-American man of math, science, and astronomy. She has told told these stories for over five years at the Benjamin Banneker Historical Park & Museum plus other venues. As Molly Bannaky, Ms Keeping interacts with guests for various special occasions as well as her regular performances in June to celebrate the Museums' opening anniversary & in November for Benjamin's birthday. The stories of Molly & her family have been showcased at Accokeek Colonial Farm, Oakley Cabin & the Maryland Historical Society.
