Achromatic thoughts and ideas, collected inspirations and narrative vignettes curated by freelance creative Stuart Hobday.
I reside within a tiny shoebox on the top floor of a converted Victorian building in the UK with my partner Stephanie, where I spend my days designing and developing websites using a pencil, paper and a wide variety of CMS platforms.
Since starting life as a freelance designer in the late Nineties, I have had the privilege of working with clients from all over the world which include ongoing collaborations with Another Company, Free/Man, Inventory Magazine, Six and Some/Things on a number of projects.
Having had an interest in architecture, design and technical drawing from an early age, grids and a use of white space have always been an integral part of what I create. I find inspiration within the pages of print publications, world cinema and photography - a discipline in which I am not a professional but simply use to capture unedited memories that may otherwise become lost.
With both my father and grandfather being involved in the lithographic print industry, it seemed natural for me to enter into a creative profession; and one in which I am totally self taught.
