How did the Lord call you to seminary?
In 3rd grade I had a truly inspirational teacher that really made me think about who I owe all of my life to. Ever since then, entering the seminary has been a dream to me.
What led you to discern your vocation?
My experience with my teacher and out of love for those who have no one to love them.
How did you discern your vocation?
The Lord! Meeting him daily in prayer by the tabernacle is probably the most influential and powerful thing I do in my life.
What excites you most about the priesthood?
Following God’s will! Only what God wants to do with our life can give us real joy and happiness.
What are you most excited for in college seminary?
Meeting men pursuing the same thing as I and growing closer to Christ.
What is your favorite devotion?
I am split 50/50 between the Mass and the rosary. You can’t have one without the other!
What interests & hobbies do you have?
I love playing sports and reading. So far my favorite book is Interior Castle by St. Teresa of Avila and my favorite sport is soccer.
Are you related to any priests or religious?
No.
What do your parents think about you entering college seminary in the fall?
They love it! I think they just can’t wait to get rid of me. They are practically packing my bags for me!
Anything else you would like to add?
My teacher from 3rd grade entered the Missionaries of Charity the year after she taught me and is in her final year of studies and is preparing to make final vows. Her name is Sr. Rosalie M.C. and I would like to ask for prayers for her in her final year of discernment.
