Corporate Jets LLC proudly announces certification as an Approved Operator under the International Standards for Business Aviation Operations, or IS-BAO. The International Business Aviation Council grants IS-BAO Approval to corporate aviation operations that successfully complete an exhaustive audit of their Safety Management Systems, standards and procedures and risk management systems.
The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization of business aircraft associations from throughout the world. Its mission is to represent the interests of business aviation in international aviation forums, and contribute to the development of regulations and procedures alongside other aviation entities the world over. IBAC members saw a need to recognize those flight departments that had formally adopted international operating standards. The result was the IS-BAO program.
ISO 9000 specifies requirements for Quality Management Systems are now an essential part of the production of good or services. Similarly, IS-BAO offers standards developed for flight operations. It is a code of best practice, and was developed by the industry for the benefit of its clients and passengers. The aviation community’s contribution to promoting highly professional operational practices, IS-BAO is intended to build upon the excellent safety record already established by business aviation.
