“Foxy, I Love You”

Welcome back to summer! It's time to cool off with a movie and popcorn. Catch our first Movie Monday with Fantastic Mr. Fox. The classic Roald Dahl book is eighty one pages of goodness. Puppets! To the Green Room!

spacer

"I think the performances were really inspired. All the performers were lip syncing but you couldn't tell...much. And isn't that what lip syncing is all about?" - Not Ellen DeGeneres

We don't have Ellen DeGeneres as a celebrity judge on Puppet Idol, but we did have some amazing performances by some amazing puppets. Music included songs by Lady GaGa, Black Eyed Peas, Flaming Lips, Gorillaz, Gloria Gaynor, Cyndi Lauper, Jimmy Durante, the Muppets, Louis Armstrong, and Julie Andrews (who is very not Lady GaGa).

Puppet Idol 2010

spacer

OK, imagine this puppet singing "Dancing with Myself" the Billy Idol song that Artie sings in season one of Glee.

You pick the puppet. And the song.

Then you make your puppet sing and dance and lipsync to the song of your choice.

So funny to watch. So fun to do.

Register... We’ll have the puppets and the music.

All that’s missing is you.
