reSolve 2012

Campaign: reSolve 2012

In case you haven’t heard the awesome news:

I’m pregnant and due June 14th.  I want to be able to provide the best environment for my amazing baby.  To do this I’ve decided to make a positive impact on myself, my family, and my sphere of influence in 2012.  Check out how I came up with the idea of Campaign: reSolve 2012.

Because I believe running to be a hugely positive influence on my life and the lives of others, I’m going to run (or walk as I get more pregnant) a race every week until my baby gets here.  I’m also going to match my entry fee for each race and donate it to charitable causes.

Here’s my race schedule so far…

2nd January: Andersen Air Force Base New Year’s 5k, Guam  1st female/3rd overall 20:39
7th January:  39th Cross Island Road Race (10 miles), Guam 2nd female/9th overall 1:12:30
14th January: Guam Airport 5k, Guam 2nd female/? overall 21:42
21st January: UOG 60th Anniversary 5k, Guam

4th February: Gumby 5k/10k, Granite Bay, CA
11th February: Run Between the Cities 10k, Vacaville, CA

It’s a work in progress, feel free to give me some race suggestions!!!  I’ll travel, if you’ve got a couch I can sleep on! spacer
