Welcome to Beth Am, where we strive to be, in Isaiah’s words, “a house of prayer for all peoples”. Our roughly 450 household memberships come from a wide range of backgrounds. Beth Am’s warm, child-friendly community and its pluralistic outlook make it a place so comfortable that many members say it “feels like home”. The congregation has long appreciated diversity of all kinds, including our openness to families of intermarried and same-sex couples.

Located in the historic Reservoir Hill neighborhood of Baltimore City, we are an urban, egalitarian congregation affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.
