Alamosa County Chamber of Commerce

Alamosa and the San Luis Valley attracts people for a wide variety of reasons.   The beauty of the Sangre De Cristo and San Juan Mountains that ring the valley is just the beginning of the story.  The Great Sand Dunes National Park, the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad, the Cumbres & Toltec Railroad, the Gator Farm, the three conservation districts, the Rio Grande River, hiking trails, the Crane Festival, the Creede Repertory Theater all combine to make the Valley a great place to visit and a great place to live.  It is also a great place to do business.  Our business community boasts a wide variety of restaurants, art galleries and retail shops.

The Chamber of Commerce is working to highlight our assets and add value to the business community.  We sponsor two ArtWalks a year, co-sponsor the Ice Fest, offer networking opportunities with our monthly Breakfast Meetings and publish a monthly newsletter.

Our goal is to improve the business climate in Alamosa, so that, existing businesses can grow and prosper, and new businesses see the value in locating in an area that celebrates business, the arts, education and success.
