I’m a researcher in technology and learning. I focus on mobility, play and digital games, and how these relate to learning. I’m also interested in the future — how people talk about it, how it’s represented, how it affects our ideas of what’s possible, and what might be in it. I work with educators, technologists, policy-makers and learners to understand how new technologies can help to change the way we educate.

Most of my recent project work has been done for Futurelab, a UK research group looking at education and technology. Nothing here represents their opinion in any way. If it’s more than a few months old it probably doesn’t represent mine either.
