Jennifer’s co-star Christa B. Allen now stars on the ABC hit Revenge but before the show she starred as a young Jennifer in both 13 Going on 30 and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. Learn what she has to say about Jennifer.

If Christa B. Allen looks familiar to you, chances are you’ve seen her play a young Jennifer Garner in not one but two separate films. Christa first got her start playing Garner’s teenage self in 13 Going On 30 and then again as the actress’ high school persona in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. Now, the 20 year old actress is making waves of her own as Charlotte Greyson in ABC’s popular series Revenge.

We recently made a call asking readers to send in your most burning questions for Christa. The busy actress was kind enough to help us sift through submissions and answer her favorite Qs — including what’s it like to meet and work with big names like Garner and Josh Hutcherson.

“Jennifer Garner is one of the sweetest people I’ve met in Hollywood,” she told us. “She’s actually gave me some of the best advice that I still carry with me today.”

Jennifer Garner wishes she hadn’t gotten married in her 20s

February 7, 2012 | posted by Ali | category: Family, Interview  |  No Comments

Britian’s The Sun did an interview with Jennifer where she talked about her divorce from ex-husband Scott Foley and how crushing divorce was for her. She talks about her marriage to Ben Affleck and her feelings for him & his relationship with their daughters.

JENNIFER GARNER became famous at 30 as CIA action girl Sydney Bristow in the TV series Alias.

It launched a successful film career, with hits including Daredevil, 13 Going On 30 and Juno.

She married second husband Ben Affleck in 2005 and they have daughters Violet, six and three-year-old Seraphina. Jennifer, 39, is pregnant again and her new movie Butter is out soon.

With her 40th birthday looming, she tells GARTH PEARCE what she wishes she had known aged 18.

I WISH I had known that so many women feel much more comfortable at an older age.

In my teens, I was never part of the cool crowd. If you put me next to the girls who came out of the womb with cute hair and clothes and shoes, then I looked different.

But I had a good life, growing up in a small town with normal, beautiful women who took pride in their homes and raised their kids. They were gracious and kind.

My world was a community ballet school, a marching band, my two sisters and my girlfriends. I played saxophone in the band and was a bit nerdy. The outside world can be very tough.

When I moved away from all that, at 18, I felt uncomfortable and awkward.

My parents came from a poor background and worked their way up because of education. They saw it as a way to succeed. So they cared about me getting straight A grades when I was growing up.

They put me through an expensive college with their life savings because I was supposed to be a chemical engineer or a doctor.

But when I changed to a theatre degree, they never criticised or said: “You are nuts.”

After that, I moved to New York, which was even more crazy. I got a job as an understudy in a play on 600 dollars (£380) a month and my rent, sleeping on a futon, was 400 dollars (£253). So money was tight.

When I started out, I was a waitress. Steve Martin used to come in to the restaurant. When I finally met him, years later, he looked at me as if he knew me. “Didn’t you audition with me or something?” he asked.

I said: “No, but I used to wait on you at table five every day.”

Violet and Seraphina’s Baby Name Choices ‘Definitely Disney’

Older siblings often want to help with baby names, but their choices sometimes aren’t the most desirable.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are learning this as they prepare for their third child — and are getting an avalanche of suggestions for names from daughters Violet, 6, and Seraphina, 3.

“Our girls are working on names. At first they were definitely Disney. It was like, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse Affleck,” the Butter star, 39, said Wednesday on The Tonight Show.

“And then they’ve moved on. Then it was Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Smee.”

With those character names not really cutting it, the girls moved on to other strategies.

“They’re coming up with lists, and coming in and saying, ‘Let’s have a baby-naming contest! Let’s have a baby-naming poll!’” Garner, who’s due in the spring, says. “They ask everyone, cause they just want to know. But we’re not telling.”

Garner knows the sex of the baby, but declined to reveal it on the show. Asked if her husband wants a boy, Garner — who has said she wants a third girl — said she actually didn’t know.

“I would have thought so. At first I think I really thought so,” she said. “And then he kind of said, ‘Well, we have girls. We know how to do girls. My girls love me. I’m the big guy in the house.’ So, now I’m not sure.”
