TextMarks' Founders
Ariel Poler, CEO
Ariel has been involved with a number of successful Internet start-ups.
He was the founder and CEO of IPRO, the first company to measure and audit
web traffic.
Ariel was founder and CEO of Topica, a leading provider of email publishing and
lead management solutions.
Ariel was founding board member of Kana Software, a pioneering provider of
CRM solutions [NASDAQ: KANA];
he was founding Chairman of LinkExchange (now Microsoft's bCentral service
for small business marketing);
and he was a board member of Silicon Investor (now part of InfoSpace).
Ariel currently serves on the board of directors of
Bills.com, a provider of consumer debt resolution and lead generation services,
Papilia, an innovative provider of technology to help non-profits manage
their stewardship efforts, and
StumbleUpon, a fast growing content discovery network.
He holds a B.S. in Mathematics with Computer Science from MIT and an
MBA from Stanford University.
Dan Kamins, CTO
Dan was professionally programming video games before the Internet was well
established.
After graduating from Harvard University with an honors degree in Computer Science,
he co-founded a video game development company in San Francisco.
Soon realizing the potential of wireless technology in a world becoming increasingly
interconnected, the team shifted focus to start up BITMO,
providing cross-platform wireless commerce and communications solutions
to businesses. BITMO merged with MobileSys which was later acquired by mBlox, a
leading global mobile transaction network.
Recently, Dan has consulted for video game and web companies,
using enerprise development experience to integrate the two.
Staying abreast of evolving new technologies,
Dan once again found the wireless revolution to be today's sweet spot.
