For more than twenty years, Sharon Anderson’s paintings and collages have been exhibited throughout the world. Her art can be found both in private and permanent museum collections. Born in Michigan and currently residing in southern California, Sharon is also a published writer covering topics relating to the art world, music, books and current events. Sharon’s writings and interviews are regularly featured in the Northside San Francisco magazine.

As an artist, Sharon steers clear of subjectivity and instead explores random juxtapositions with surprising results that create their own meaning. Her work is influenced by Dada, Surrealist and Pop art. In keeping with her influences, Sharon is an active participant in the worlds of art, literature, music and theatre. She is an award-winning stage designer, and has recently branched out into filmmaking.
