Boxcar Press's custom-made washout brushes use the same soft bristles as commercial polymer platemakers. Their 4x8 inch size fits neatly in your hand for processing small plates. These brushes even float (for after-work water fun)! We made sure the .75” bristles are very soft so you can hand-process plates and still get excellent detail. Please note hand-processing is not recommended for plates larger than 9 x 12. Larger plates should be processed by a professional platemaking service or a photopolymer platemaking machine.
