Airtype’s philosophy can be boiled down to one simple idea: “There has to be a better way to do this.” We took a long, hard look at the traditional ‘ad agency model’ and decided to turn it on its head.
Do more with less
While other agencies are investing in bigger, we’re investing in better. We’ll take six great employees and our collaborative work environment over all the cubicles and conference rooms in North Carolina. This philosophy helps us deliver results that support your goals without sacrificing your timeline or budget.
Simplify the complex
We might be a little geeky, but that doesn’t mean you have to be. Our human-friendly approach to project planning and execution helps keep our clients in control of their projects without forcing them to learn about Doctypes or Moiré Patterns.
Passion makes perfect
As tempting as it can be to take every project that comes through the door, we’ve found that we reach our best results when we’re passionate about the work we do. We choose clients and projects based on how strongly we believe we can transfer that passion along to your customers.
Meet the Team
Bryan Ledbetter
Founder, Director of Everything
As the owner, Ledbetter's been a designer, developer, CFO, and a janitor among other things. When he's not running the show, you can find him with his family, on his BMX bike, or behind a drum kit.
Dwayne Mitchell
Studio Foreman
Simply put, Dwayne keeps it all together. He manages projects, clients, our office, and the world's best fantasy football team, Mitchell's Marauders.
Marcus Hodges
- Snipplr
Static Surgeon
By day, Marcus slices and dices our visuals into pixel perfect code. By night, he's playing killer tunes with his band at one of our local dives. Legend has it, he was born with that beard.
Wes Rice
Code Magician / Claymater
Wes works magic. Somehow, he makes all of our clients' projects come to life. He is also the head of our newly founded claymation studio. Watch out Pixar, it's the next big thing.
Adam Dixon
- Dribbble
Painfully Awkward Design Guy
Adam is a quiet guy. So quiet, that when he completes a task he just rings a bell to let us know he's finished. We should also say he's an illustration wizard.
Ryan Kelly
Action Director
From working with our wonderful clients to digital strategy, Ryan does a bit of everything. You'll get to know Ryan and his "throatee" very well. We're sorry for that.
