Americans for Prosperity Foundations Nationwide Ending Earmarks Express to Kick Off Sixth Leg on September 19
09/15/2006 WASHINGTON The Americans for Prosperity Foundations Ending Earmarks Express, a nationwide road tour of lawmakers questionable pet projects, will kick off its sixth leg on Tuesday, September 19 in Houston, Texas, visiting a total of four states and eight earmarks next week. The grassroots bus tour, which began its inaugural swing on April 7th, has so far traveled over 9,000 miles to 33 states and 41 earmarks literally worth billions in hard-earned tax dollars. At the end of this swing, the Ending Earmarks Express will have achieved its goal of visiting the site of 50 earmarks and will have visited a total of 37 states. | More...
