Social Media Club hosts conversations that explore key issues facing our society as technologies transform the way we connect, communicate, collaborate and relate to each other. The Club’s primary mission is to promote media literacy, promote standard technologies, encourage ethical behavior and share best practices. Social Media Club brings together journalists, publishers, communications professionals, artists, amateur media creators, citizen journalists, teacher, students, tool makers, business people and other interested collaborators. The Memphis Chapter aims to create and facilitate a community forum for ongoing communication and education on social media technology.

Compensation Studies Project

Howell Marketing client needs project assistance through March/April, possibly beyond. Candidate will take a major role in conducting compensation studies.

• Experience must include market pricing of diverse jobs using multiple data sources and determining the market value of hybrid jobs
• Must have expert capability with Excel, familiarity with HRIS systems
• Must have wherewithal to question the content of JAQs and job descriptions to determine what a job really entails
• Previous experience in developing job families and career progression levels required
• CCP certification is highly desirable

Client Relations Associate, Communications

Howell Marketing client seeks Client Relations Associate.  Two primary areas of responsibility – creating and maintaining communications materials and ensuring that the CRM system facilitates & optimizes client and prospect contact and interaction.

Primary Responsibilities

Communications
1. Create and implement process (es) to ensure all materials have current and consistent data including web site, pitch books, brochure, Fund sheets, client reviews, and any other information provided to external constituents.
2. Manage brands by ensuring that all materials and communications pieces follow the brand guidelines.
3. Create new presentation materials as needed by collaborating with client portfolio management and business development teams. Build a library of presentation materials that allows for the continued use of completed materials in an organized and efficient manner.
4. Manage and oversee web site and other online communication efforts. Oversee development and implementation of any new online communications or applications.

CRM
1. Define and implement processes to insure that data changes are collected from throughout the firm and input into the CRM in a consistent and standardized manner.
2. Create and implement processes to review records systematically to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data.
3. Work with Client Portfolio Managers and Business Development Professionals to ensure optimal interactions are occurring with clients and prospective clients.
4. Help with data input as needed.

Further Background and Abilities

1. Ability to create effective visual representations of data and other information
2. Ability to turn general concepts/ideas/messages into succinct and impactful presentations
3. Ability to design simple but detailed processes for information and data management
4. Ability to adapt presentation pieces to regulatory requirement
5. Interest in and comfort with electronic mediums for communicating including web sites and potentially other social media

Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree required.

Experience:
• High level knowledge of investment industry
• Business communications
• Database familiarity
• Prior history of creating presentations
• Information management (updating, confirming accuracy, following guidelines, etc.)
Skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, CRM system (preferably Salesforce), InDesign or other design software
Time Horizon: Candidate should have a long-term time horizon and should view position as a strategic role with the potential to develop as a Client Portfolio Manager
